HDTV and rabbit ears

I just bought a new 47" Samsung rear projection HDTV. Good beginnner set I think. And since it has a built-in HDTV tuner I hooked up the rabbit ears I had laying around in addition to the cable.

The HD picture is fantastic. I never want to watch cable again. :) Except that there are more channels, but the HD picture over the rabbit ears beats anything on the cable. Including the digital channels.

But to me there's just something wrong about HDTV and rabbit ears. :)

Widescreen TV - From 4:3 ratio to 16:9

Want to upgrade to widescreen but not sure what size you want. If you want the same height picture on a 16:9 TV as you have on your old TV multiply your old diagonal measurement by 1.224. So your 32 inch becomes a 40 inch 16:9 widescreen.

Joan of Arcadia

Some may think I'm crazy, but I love this show. I'm not a religious person. Certainly not in the usual sense. I don't even have much of a spiritual side at all. But this show is great. You never know how God is going to appear. I love him as the pierced goth kid with spiked hair. And as the little girl she's great. This is a god I could believe in. He/she just tries to do some guiding through Joan. Not a god that demands worship, respect, or fear. Just one of Us.
