In a shameful display of misleading the public, Newsday has just told a fib: If the manufacturer or distributor is negligent or otherwise ignores BATF regulations and the law, they CAN BE SUED! Newsday furthers the error with this:

There's much more in Alphecca's post than this of course.   But this appears to be typical of the MSM.  Half truths and lies.  No manufacturer anywhere should be responsible for the misuse of their product.  None.  Ever.

Stop Cindy Sheehan

Some dropped this into a comment on one of my blogs.  To some  extent I feel sorry for Cindy.  She's let her grief overcome her common sense.  From what I've seen from the rest of the family I feel sure that what she's doing would shame her son.  And I feel she's being used by anti-war adherents.  I'm just more sad than mad.  Check out the site if you'd like though.

Zero Tolerance or Zero Thought?

Are you one of those who applaud Zero Tolerance?  Then you've never paid attention to the trouble it causes.  ZT just means that no one has to think.  "Sorry, that's the policy"  A boy helps a friend move to a new apartment and accidently drops a kitchen knife in the back of his car.  School security sees it.  Boy is expelled for bringing a weapon to school.  Huh???  Nobody is permitted to say it was just a kitchen knife and that the boy didn't even realize it was there because ZERO Tolerance doesn't allow for it.  Go here and see what Randy Cassingham has to say about it.  You might want to go ahead and subcribe to his (free) newsletter while you're at it.
