Moose hunting

I think I'd be more impressed if she was hunting deer.  I've never been moose-hunting and therefore cannot verify this of my own accord, but I've heard it said "hunting moose is like stalking a stalled pickup truck".  If someone can provide me any information that would dissuade me of this opinion I'd appreciate it.   Thanks.

Ok, my take on this is that either Obama is a dickwad or a dumbass.

Whine or Whinge??

I was going to complain about my headache, which is probably cause by elevated blood sugar, which reminds me I forgot to take my meds...

But I thought rather than all that I'd just say "whine"...   And remembered that I'd someone else use whinge and started wondering whether that was even a word..

And it turns out it is.   Means about the same thing but pronounced with the soft 'g' and appears to be British.  So why does its use seem so wide spread about the net?  Beats me.  I'll stick with, what appears to be, the more proper 'whine'.

This is an extremely cool animation if you're into following hurricanes.  And perhaps even more useful if you're not.  It shows the changes in the anticipated storm path as Ike moves.  It's obvious to see how hard it is to predict where a storm will end up.
