I expected this from the moment I heard the news about VT. But I dare anyone to point out one single gun law that could've prevented this tragedy. There are only two things that could've changed the outcome of this. One, the willingness of those under attack to simply (yes I said simply) to turn on their attacker. Personally I'd rather go down fighting than cowering in a corner. Two, an armed and willing citizen. One gun in the right hands might have saved many lives.
Update: After reading more about what happened I think my comment about willingness to attack then gunman was premature. Considering the environment that many of these kids was raised in it's not really surprising that they didn't attack. It's doubtful that many, or even any, had ever thought about what to do in a life or death situation let alone faced it before.
