Austin Bay's latest column is on the Cartoon Wars. And on his blog he observes: "The Danish 'Cartoon War' is an information warfare operation conducted by Islamist terror groups and at least two Middle Eastern dictatorships (Syria and Iran)."
All I can say is 'Duh'. The whole Islamic, or rather militant Islamic reaction to the Danish cartoons is a put up job. I can just picture a gathering of reactionary mullahs complaining about the lack of beheadings, shootings, and burnings of flags and buildings. "Hey, did you see those cartoons published in that Danish paper?" "oh yea, my son emailed them to me. That one of Mohammed with the bomb on his turban? A riot." "Yea, exactly. A 'riot'??" "huh" "We can use those to inflame our empty headed followers" "Hey, cool idea".
