MSM slings mud at bloggers

Link: Michelle Malkin: WAITING FOR BRET STEPHENS TO CALL.

Either the MSM has missed the point somewhere or they are deliberately ignoring it.  They call bloggers who wanted answers from Eason Jordan a lynch mob.  We smell blood and go in for the kill.  What patent nonsense.  Every blog I read wanted answers.  What did he really say?  Did he have facts to back up his accusations?  Was what we heard what he meant?  And the MSM never, NEVER, questioned it.  Not until the last minute was there any mention of his remarks, of the congressmen that bore witness to it, or of any substantiating information.  NOTHING,  So while the blogsphere crys for answers the MSM just ignores the whole thing.  Does this sound like the MSM protecting their own to you?  It certainly does to me.  Then after Jordan quits rather than answer the questions they call US a lynch mob.  I just don't get it.  I thought this was news.  I thought reporters/journalists reported the news.  Guess I just couldn't hear them over the sound of the crickets.  Ladies and Gentlemen if you're not going to report the news then please just pull the dirt in after you because you're dead.
